The Saltburn Stages Recovery Community aim is to foster deeper relationships among members, which encourages greater transparency and accountability during and outside of community time. This Protects confidentiality and encourages care of one another. A community mutual agreement defines the parameters of the group and sets expectations of one another.

Smaller size allows more interaction among members and affords the working of the steps greater influence with community members. It also allows for more opportunities to meditate together because of the intimate size. This Encourages social interaction outside of community meeting times.

Community members serve as only teachers of the 10stages instead of “master sponsors”, which provides development of new teachers through a shared ownership of the 10 Stages and the child within material. This also allows the members the freedom to be relational rather than focusing solely on the study of there personal program. Further encouraging multiplication of personal experiences within the community. So by Helping the community to focus choices around the three vital relationships: intimacy with their child within, a personal relationship, community with insiders, and influence with outsiders. Our relationships within the community are that of brothers and sisters in recovery. Fostering a shared ownership of roles and responsibilities cultivating and nurturing our shared experiences and newly found abilities among our community members. This in turn fosters self-revelation/awareness vs. being taught. ·Which encourages accountability through consistent truthful relationships.
