Gratitude has been called the highest prayer, a profound practice that effortlessly returns us to the present moment and opens the doors for more blessings to be bestowed upon us. During this blessed summer season, deepen your awareness of the bounty in your life by creating a daily gratitude list. Each night before bed, write down three things that happened that day for which you are grateful. An added challenge: write down different things daily—no repeating! Consider doing this as a family project at the dinner table or sharing your list with a partner or friend. It is our responsibility to honour all that is.
