most pornography in Las Vegas is consumed after evangelical gatherings (according to someone somewhere). The worst places for sextrafficking is not New York or LA but Atlanta and Nashville. Can this hint at the inward despair and repressed guilt that many evangelicals have bottled up inside them, coming out in uncontrollable, despair ridden ways? What happens to our souls when our minds stifle the laments of the heart? The deep shame and despair that many Christians face who do not understand God as fundamentally love is probably manifesting itself in the dark underside of evangelical morality.
