A recent study was done in which Bill's quotes were scrutinized and looked at more literally. Amazingly, it was determined that the infamous 1-3% number wasn't accurate at all - it never was accurate. All I knew was that I was going to be part of that 1-3%, if I had anything to say about it...and I did! But in reality, more than 26% of those who committed themselves to the program stay sober over the long haul
