I came across an article in Time magazine entitled “Battling Addiction: Are Twelve Steps Too Many?“ The article addressed the issue of spirituality in 12 Step Recovery Programs. The originator of the 12 Step Recovery Program is of course Alcoholics Anonymous. The article opines that the spiritual method may not always be the most effective method of recovery for addicts.
